A candidate with 3+ years’ experience in procurement/supply chain management and construction industry is preferred. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has an excellent eye for detail, reviews work and tracks material accurately, understands the importance of teamwork, builds new supplier relationships easily and maintains existing relationships. The procurement specialist should provide optimization in cost, quality, and delivery times, thereby giving Live Systems a competitive advantage. Preferred Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking in every step during the sourcing process. Experience with price analyses & source selection is preferred.
- Supply chain experience working on procurements or related experience in strategic sourcing and subcontract management.
- Good organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask is important.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Proven work experience as a procurement, supply chain management, and/or inventory management, 3+ yrs preferred.
- Talent in negotiation and networking.
- Ability to work independently and proven team player to support the company’s financial objectives.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and consistently support the operation teams.
- Ability to quickly learn products & trends within the industry and stay informed about competitive products and services.
- A detailed and process-oriented team player is important.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Basic technology and math skills for computer and calculations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Apple devices.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- The work schedule is 7am-5pm Monday through Friday, and available Saturday as needed.
- High School diploma/GED is required.
- Valid driver license is required.
